Would live to start my new array with these, but as always, nobody can confirm they play nice with TLER and Areca ix I checked Areca's HCL, but it hasn't been updated for 6 months. It doesn't seem like there are too many drives listed, but we know the list isn't exhaustive. You would think any decent HDD would have this feature by now, but sometimes the command to enable it has changed and the RAID card firmware hasn't been updated to match, which I think is the situation with the Hitachi 12TB.
