Free games for xda orbit 2

Hi Neo, as I understand it the upgrade there is hardware-specific to the O2 Xda Orbit — I could be wrong but that was my understanding. You definately saved me! Got that from If I have tom tom nav 6 on my memory card at present and I update to WM6 tonight, will I need to reinstall the tom tom software? Great stuff, thanks for that. I was about to give up trying when I read here to use a different browser. Tried Firefox 2, ie6 and ie7 none worked for me but opera did the trick.

Cant wait to install it now. Does anyone know if this upgrade is supposed to fix the random SD card corruption issue which seems to plauge the htc orbit? Yes, I believe it does fix the SD card corruption issue. I had problems with that in WM5, not had any problems with WM6 at all, which is a relief. Even if I still prefer my Psion! Can you post the wm6 upgrade file as the o2 site appears to have a problem with the site at the moment, have been trying for days to get file, but the link to the htc download site doe not work.

I really like German but most of the time I just guess what the system messages are rather than understand them. As I understand English better, I really need to change the language. Or there should be no problem with it. As I mentioned, my XDA Orbit is in German and the reason why I need to perform this upgrade or downgrade, call it as you like is to change the language from German to English.

I also have upgraded to WM6 hoping it will solve my WiFi and SD card corruption problems , and although there is improvement on both fronts, ,y ring tone volume has dropped significantly. Even if I turn the volume control all the way up, it still is very quite, no matter if I use a built-in ring tone or an mp3 file that otherwise plays great via the ear phone.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and have a solution? Or anyone figured out a downgrade path? Any ideas how to get it back? Any ideas on any fixes?

Just bought a XDA orbit with wm6 preinstalled; seems to work fine if a bit sluggish, but speed is probably more to do with the speed of the orbit. Hey, thanks for mentioning XDA-Orbit. I first tried another version of the upgrade I found on google.

But it crashed half way through. Can i use this upgrade if i cannot get Active sinc running. I can get it to usb mode. Thanks Terry. Just so you know re above comment, it did work once i got the serial no. I use Microsoft VoiceCommannd 1. Has anyone else had this problem? Help please …. So I was very unsure about the palaver of having to reinstall all that. In the end, I got brave and went to the update site, using IE7.

Hello, just ugraded to WM6 following the info on this site and all seems well. Only when the update window came up my xda disconnected from activsync so came up with disconnection error, but I hard reset as someone mentioned previously on this website and then ran the update program again which then was uneventful. For those afraid to take the plunge, dont — WM6 seems much faster and reliable.

My desktop with Windows XP also not recognising the phone? What am I doing wrong.. Please help…. Seems to be mixed messages out there! You won't be lost either: the Orbit 2 comes with CoPilot Live 7 sat-nav software.

It's very capable at getting you from A to B without too much fiddling. The speakerphone is sufficiently loud enough to hear in a car, so you shouldn't miss a turn if you're paying attention. On the media side, there's an MP3 that supports a variety of formats and an FM radio. On the back, you'll find a 3-megapixel camera, which takes still pictures and videos.

It seems a growing trend for handset manufacturers to leave off the LED photo light or xenon flash, and the Orbit 2 sadly follows along, making low-light photos impossible. It gives you quick, finger-friendly access to contacts and selected apps, but is disappointing because it inevitably drops you back to the Windows Mobile interface, which isn't as touchy feely. Performance Audio quality during calls is fine without any noticeable distortion or muffling during calls.

The loudspeaker is equally clear, which is good when using the Orbit 2 as a sat-nav. As we mentioned, the 3-megapixel camera is really only good enough for MMS messages and -- at a push -- small prints. There's no light source on the phone, so keep your shooting to the sunshine. We used the GPS in a car and found it worked, although in certain areas you may find you have to wait for several minutes before picking up any satellites.

We do not permit use of this service to provide modem access for a computer or for peer to peer file sharing, internet phone calls or instant messaging. The O2 Web Bolt On can only be used for internet browsing on your phone. We will send you a warning text message advising you to limit your usage before this occurs and a text message to confirm when you are being charged.

I am in the market for a new phone so will keep an eye out for this. Excellent review! Highly informative…. I previously had an Orbit. I can now report that although the Stellar is quite a bit heavier than my old Orbit it does have a sliding keyboard, 3G and GPS and overall I am a lot happier desite the added weight. Hi, I am having O2 Orbit, and as i am on my visit to India, i wanted to back up my files on pc so i connected orbit to pc but as the pc went slow and instead of removing the programme that i wanted to remove i by mistake removed the O2 custom programme which helped a lot and it was my favorite too as it showed the running applications and call log both on today screen, and now i miss it a lot so can you pls guide me how to get it back on my orbit?
